5 things to protect our future in the next 3 days

Do you live in Bridgewater or on the South Shore? Concerned about climate change?

Here are five things you can do to protect our future in the next 3 days:

1. Watch this cool NEW video ( http://www.southshorenow.ca/southshore350 )

2. Mark in your calendar, October 24th, 3-4PM at the Old Bridge in Bridgewater. It’s the International Day of Action on Climate Change, and it’s going to be huge... and fun! Find any or all of the following to bring with you: life jacket, poster with a meaningful message, instrument, costume. Also plan to bring a water bottle and weather-appropriate gear.

3. Attend the Oct. 24th event to make a HUGE statement to our leaders that you care about this issue. We’ll take a photo of everyone, put it on the internet, and send it to world leaders!

4. Sign the Kyoto Plus petition (www.kyotoplus.ca), and send a letter or postcard to politicians to let them know that you want to see swift and fair government action on climate change (there will be copies for everyone at the event).

and finally, but most importantly...

5. Send this email to ALL your friends, families and co-workers, regardless of whether or not they can come on Saturday.

In support of an ambitious, fair, and binding global agreement on climate change,
