Just wondering what everyone else cooks, bakes, makes in their household at Halloween?

Does anyone have any great recipes they would like to share?

I'd like to do something more grown up but fun for my older kids this year (ages 12, 16 & 20)- anyone got any ideas?

Cheers!

Hey Karen

Well I did a version of your orange Jack O Lanterns but filled them with Chapmans Frozen Yogurt and they were a big hit! I took some photos for the website Halloween page- CLICK HERE

They are a great idea! Thank you Karen!!

PS I may have a go at making the broken glass next!

I made them again this year for Thanksgiving dinner dessert; filled with coffee-choco chunk ice cream and tiny wedges of chocolate chip cheesecake on the side. I find the icecream stays harder if you put the orange "cups" in the freezer for a while before filling. I forgot to take pics. but they were, once again, a hit. : )

1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup raisins or chocolate chips

Directions

1. Combine gluten-free flour mix, xanthan gum, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in a medium bowl.
