Hi anybody and everyone

It is a New year and what interests u? What peeves u off ? What would u like improved in our community in general? What businesses or stores would u like to shop at which are not here? What do u think about where u live? What is missing and what is really good about where u live? Feel free to talk. It is just an opinion, a thought, and let us see where it goes if anywhere.....Let's talk !!!!!!! Thoughts about anything...Newspaper articles, government, tourism, how are you feeling about things????

Permalink Reply by Ryan Darwin on February 19, 2009 at 10:05pm: I love Bridgewater very much. But it has so many flaws. This is a beautiful town, with so much potential to look better. Look at the area it is in. However, look at the mess around the town. The graffiti is probably more well known than the art museum. There is still a lot of youth getting into trouble and I really feel that nobody is addressing this problem. What does Bridgewater have to offer youth? Nothing. Okay, so maybe not nothing. The movies and the mall are good and all, but youth get bored of these easily. Compared to Lunenburg, Bridgewater's tourism rate is plummeting. Not that everyone else's isn't too. But what does Bridgewater have to offer people from out of town/country? A few shops and businesses here and there. But there are little to no homegrown businesses, or stores which you can't find in any other place. Let's be honest. We just don't have a lot to offer people. We need to expand bridgewater. Expand way past any Wal-mart or anything like that. Our goal should be to have a town that is not only better, aestheically and outlet-wise. But we should want a town that offers stuff that not all other towns offer. A lot of people talk and complain about the fact that Bridgewater really has nothing to it. But when is someone going to do something about it? It will not only boost (hopefully) our economy, and tourism rate. It will lower crime rates, by giving youth and other's more things to do(Not saying youth are at fault at all, because a lot of adults are aswell.)
All in all. Bridgewater needs to step it up.; ▶ Reply to This

What kind of stores do youth like? What kind of things do youth want to do? What kind of stores would attract tourists?
