Thank You For Allowing Me To Join

I wanted to say hi and introduce myself. My name is Bennett Inkeles. Unlike many of you, I'm an American currently living in Denver, CO. My connection to the South Shore is through a home my wife and I purchased in 2008. We are originally from in and around New York City and wanted to be near the water again. A friend of mine says it was a hedge against President Palin, but I'll invoke the no religion/no politics rule. :)

We had been researching Canada online for about a year, starting in Newfoundland, but ultimately setting our sites on Nova Scotia due to better weather and easier access. That said, it was love at first sight when we came to visit. Much of our stay was devoted to the details of purchasing a home, yet we had an incredible time in Halifax with Natal Day as a backdrop. But it was a long walk along Crescent Beach in the fog that sealed the deal.

I look forward to getting to know you and hopefully my penchant for asking questions won't be too much of a distraction.
